Those born after the mid-1990’s are Generation Z.

Like every generation, they have challenges and strengths.

They can be encouraged and assisted as they progress into adulthood.
Generation Z are poised to ultimately take over and change the world.
They are the most connected, educated and sophisticated generation in history.
They are the first generation who have known the Internet and social media all their lives.
It is stated that they are smarter, safer and more mature than previous generations.
Also, they want to change the world.
SOME GENERATION Z’S ADVERSE CHARACTERISTICS:

They are perceived as tech-savvy youngsters who are always on their phones.

They have little time to explore themselves.

Many are depressed and anxious in school.

Before their senior year of high school, they are under pressure to know what they are doing.

They could end up drowning in massive student loan debt.
-
Some of this generation love to offend people for the sake of offending.

Often they use only YouTube as a source of information.
-
Many have a one-dimensional view on issues despite being taught critical thinking in school.

Some have become polarized as the level of disagreement on topics has widened.
SOME GENERATION Z’S STRENGTHS:

They are often willing to listen to the other side.

Many of them promote kindness and compassion.
-
They tend to fight for equality and justice.
-
Often they are utilizing their potential and discovering their talents.
-
They are already having a positive impact on the world.
This gives us all hope.
Generation Z may have a lot to work on. Many are doing their best every day.
We can help them and encourage them to find their voices.
Let’s assist them to become the leaders that they can become.
Help enable them to change the world in a positive way.
