LOOKING FOR YOUTH WITH A PIONEERING SPIRIT
We are looking for some young people to assist in setting up online sessions.
Who do you know who might be interested in setting up some new unique youth groups?
Perhaps it is your child, your grandchild or a young person that you know.
If so, please inform me. I can reach out to them to determine if this might be a fit for them.
They should be capable of assisting to create online sessions for other young people.
These sessions need to be enjoyable experiences for the participants.
THE VISION:
I have worked with youth for over a decade now.
It has become clear that the current younger generation is facing dramatic changes.
These groups of youth would conduct regular online meetings.
These sessions could be recorded and uploaded for viewing.
Parents, coaches, and other youth could view them.
This would be an excellent way to spread the word about the sessions and what achievements can be made by youth as a result of them.
They would practice and learn how to work with and respect others from a variety of backgrounds.
TYPES OF ACTIVITIES:

Discussion groups,
-
Formal presentations,
-
Impromptu speaking on random subjects,
-
Debates,
-
Competitions,
-
Group projects, and
-
Feedback and evaluations.
KEY SKILLS:
Some examples of the key skills they will develop are:

Curiousity, creativity, and innovation;
-
Interpersonal communications and cooperation;
-
Determination, self-motivation, self-confidence; and,
-
Leadership and lifelong learning.
The skills developed in these sessions will assist them towards future success. The world as we know it is rapidly evolving.
After working with youth for more many years, it is clear to me this will be of great benefit to them.
This is one method to pass on timeless values and principles which will assist them greatly.
Once they set up their own groups, adult coaches can mentor them.
Youth understand the youth better than us adults. That is why we need youth to help us set up the online sessions.
Face-to-face interaction is ideal. However, we can emulate much of this interaction online.
Online sessions will become the norm in the future work world.
